Note(typed on 23NOV08) - I have seen CareBear plushies at shops like More Than Words.
The CareBear Plushies are selling at $9.90 each and they look very different from mine, especially the eyes. I think they look very weird.Lol and i am not being bias here.
Their tags also do not have the individual stories of the carebear.

Firstly , the hearts on the paws are white.
They have tuffs of hair and not 'spiked'.
They were bought overseas{America} and claimed original by my sister.
Doesn't mean the ones below aren't original though.. I think this is the earlier version..
